Diane Kucala's Story

Diane Kucala was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, where she discovered early that a fulfilling life is built on strong values, meaningful relationships, hard work, community focus, and the courage to dream big.

Relocated to San Diego in 1992, Diane spent four years at Eli Lilly before transitioning to Guidant Corporation, where she served for ten years—an enterprise later acquired by Boston Scientific Corporation for $27 billion. Her roles in talent management, professional & leadership training, and executive development laid a solid foundation for her entrepeneurial leadership journey.

In July 2005, Diane founded Blueprint Leadership—a company dedicated to empowering leaders at every level. Blueprint Leadership provides a comprehensive blueprint that aligns an organization’s mission, strategy, culture, and the strengths of its team with the needs of its customers.

In 2020, Diane expanded her leadership training and coaching offerings to include an innovative online platform. This suite features Blueprint Leadership’s premier Signature Strengths program which, when combined with an insightful leadership assessment tool, provides a deep understanding of each leader’s unique design.
